CCI Research has worked in partnership with a diversity of organizations (both public and private) to conduct studies designed to inform business decisions and strategies. For example, we worked with an Automotive Association to conduct a Canada-wide study on the automotive aftermarket industry in response to anecdotal evidence of labour shortages in the sector. The study involved the design and conduct of surveys with employers and employees in select industry sectors to obtain relevant information for purposes of: (a) clarifying labour market conditions and challenges, (b) producing projections of labour supply and demand for the sectors, and (c) providing recommendations for potential solutions to labour shortages.
In another private sector study, we worked with a county in Central Ontario to garner information from residents regarding their shopping patterns for purposes of determining what retail and other potential business opportunities were missing from the area. The results of the study were intended to attract new businesses into the area to keep residents shopping locally, while boosting the business economy.
CCI Research also conducts annual employee surveys for several companies within the manufacturing industry to help improve the workplace culture, increase employee engagement, and promote a “preferred employer” brand.
Beyond the research we conduct, we offer Call Centre services under the umbrella of CCI Resources for companies looking to outsource or augment their customer contact centres. For example, CCI Resources was contracted to provide all inbound call centre support for a Canadian-based automotive parts distributor. We established a dedicated unit to provide Canada-wide bilingual business-to-business support, handling all customer service enquiries including support on a large number of products, as well as 24/7 Roadside Assistance for consumers. Our team of Call Centre service experts are all located in Canada.
