Research Analyst

A professional research company located in Orangeville, Ontario is looking for a Research Analyst to join our dynamic environment.

As a Research Analyst with CCI Research Inc., you will play a key role in all phases of the survey research process including the successful attainment, planning, and execution of a variety of survey research projects in the fields of education, health, and business.  The candidates for this position will possess a university degree in a related field, and graduate level education (Master’s or Ph.D.) would be considered desirable.

Successful candidates will possess exceptional:

  • Mathematical/statistical and analytical skills
  • Writing and editing skills
  • Oral communication skills
  • Knowledge and application of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Applied experience in survey research

Responsibilities will include:

  • Proposal writing and review as well as contribution to other sales and marketing efforts
  • Communications and presentations to potential clients and clients
  • Project management
  • Survey instrument development and review
  • Designing sampling and/or recruitment strategies for telephone, online, and paper surveys, online panels, and interviews and focus groups
  • Data collection
  • Working with databases and database management in a variety of formats such as MS Excel, SPSS, R
  • Participation in qualitative data collection including interviews and focus groups
  • Quantitative (statistics) and qualitative data analysis
  • Report writing and development of presentations and other results summaries
  • Creative report design for visual presentation of results, for example, dashboards and infographics
  • Quality assurance for written and numerical reports

The following would also be considered valuable assets:

  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Project management experience or PMP designation
  • Proposal writing experience
  • Experience in program evaluations

Successful candidates will be confident and proficient using software such as Microsoft Office and SPSS, and will be able to multi-task efficiently.
